MIAN FEATURES
The model YKA4220 is a 2-axis controlled
plunge-in-cut gear shaving machine of novel design and unique
structure arrangement. The machine is featured in fixed work
position, excellent rigidity, constant working accuracy, nice
adaptability and versatile functions. It is designed and
manufactured according to ergonomics principle, and its shaving
operations are comtrolled by a computer and displayed on a CRT.
Integrated with the function of self trouble diagnosis, it is a
new generation gear shaving machine of high precision, high
efficiency and high automation.
Main performances:
The model YKA4220 is specially designed for
performing plunge-in-cut gear shaving operations. When a proper
cutter is used, the machine is able to shave crowned gear and
little tapered gear. It is able to implement continuous shaving
operations from roughing go finishing, and the shaving cutter
can be moved back by a microfeed. The machine is automatically
lubricated at regular intervals and the workpiece is clamped and
released automatically. The machine is automatically lubricated

conveying mechanism.
Main features:
The vertical guideways (Z axis) are inserted
with steel strips and coated with teflon.
The primary motion of the machine works at an
infinitely variable speed.
The main drive is transmitted to the cutter
via the universal joint of equivalent angular velocity and the
roll spline shaft. Only one pair of gears is adopted for the
whole transmission chain, which ensures the machine’s smooth
running and low noise
Reliable pre-loading measures have been taken
at the joint area between the cutter head and the vertical slide
plate to improve the work rigidity and minimize the error caused
by the self weight of the cutter head.
The heated cutting oil runs around the
machine bed and then goes back to the oil tank. The hest
exchange inside the machine bed has ensured the machine; s
thrmal balance and thus further improved its thermal stability.
Either of Mitsubishi system, fanuc system,
Num system and Siemens system can be equipped on the machine
according to the user’s request.
Command for switching a shaving mode and
cutting parameters are all inputted to the computer by the
keyboard.
A windrow-type automatic work loading and
unloading device can be installed on the machine to realize the
automation of a single independent machine. Two different types
of workpieces can also be put together on the loading device for
an automatic cutting operation.
The machine is fully enclosed to prevent the
cutting oil from splashing out so as to create a clean work
area.
