MIAN FEATURES The radial feed axis (X-axis) and the axial feed axis (Z-axis) are directly controlled by AC servo motors of their own, thus featuring in shout transmission chain, good transmission rigidity and high transmission accuracy. The control axis (W-axis) of the differential drive mechanism is actuated by a servo motor without any need of differential change gears thus changing the conventional drive mode completely and simplifying the mechanical drive structure as well. The main drive is transmitted from a frequency-controlled motor, enabling the spindle to run at an infinitely variable speed within a range of 150 to 600rpm and at a cutting speed within a range of 70 to 120m/min. The main drive motor has a power of 11kw sufficient for heavy-duty cutting and high federate of a multi-start hob as well. The major guideway pair is of rectangular shape with a big flat surface and is coated with Teflon. The drive is transmitted via ballscrews, thus featuring in good transmission rigidity, heavy load carrying capacity and highmovement straightness. The radial rapid speed is up to 2.4m/min. And the axial rapid speed is up to 4m/min. The standard CNC unit of the machine is a Siemens 802D CNC system with a communication interface RS232Cto connect the computer. The cutting cycle can be completed as a single square cycle, a double square cycle or an L-cycle. Apart from the cylindrical gears, helical gears, short spline shafts, sprockets and wormwheels, the machine is capable of cutting various tapered gear teeth, the crowned gear teeth and other special gear tooth profiles. And furthermore, the machine operation and set-up become much easier. The machine has an automatic hob-shifting function and an automatic magnetic chip conveyor. When the machine works under normal conditions, the machining accuracy can be up to Grade 6-6-7 of the GB10095-88 standard. Apart from the cylindrical gears, helical gears, short spline shafts, sprockets and wormwheels, the machine is capable of cutting various tapered gear teeth, crowned gear teeth and other special tooth profiles. The present machine is well-recommended for batch and mass production of gears in the heavy-duty automobile and construction machinery industries and also well-suited for small batch and job lot production of gears in the gear manufacturing enterprises.
