MIAN FEATURES These machines are CNC(2 axes)gear hobbing machines derived from conventional high-production gear machines. Radia(axis X) and axial (axis Z) feeding of the machines is controlled by servomotor CNC system. Various kind of cutting loops are available, such as one-square, tow-square and “L” preating cycle. Besides cylindrical spur gears, helical gears, short spline shafts and sprocket wheels, some special gears can also be machined on the machine, such as tapered gears and crown wheels. With a short driving chain, the machine is featured with high driving rigidity. The primary motion is adjusted with changing pulleys. The hob spindle is journaled in high-precision rolling bearings and the worktable spindle is supported by a wear-resistant sliding bearing made of bronze alloy. Both ends of the indexing driving chain (ie. The hob head and the worktable) are arranged with torsional devices, thus assuring the machine with sufficient rigidity and constant working accuracy. The cutting speed can be up to 70-120mm/min when using a coated H.S.S hob. A multi-start hob can be used on the machine at a heavy-duty cutting feedrate. Oils for hydraulic system, cooling system and lubricating system are separated from each other, which makes the hydraulic system more reliable. Thermal balance of the machine body has been taken into full considerations when machine was designed. The machine has the feature of automatic hob-shifting and is equipped with a magnetic chip conveyor. Upon customers request, the machine can be equipped with an oil-mister separating device, automatic loading and unloading device, automatic deburring device, all kinds of fixtures, a stepless speed controlling device for the primary motion (through a frequency-converter)and an automatic temperature controlling device for cooling and hydraulic oil.
