MIAN FEATURES The model YKN5150 is a 4-axis controlled CNC gear shaping machine with 3 of the 4 axes working under gang control. Cutter relieving can be made in two directions by the swing of head for cutting internal and external gears, and the radial feed is implemented by the travel of worktable. Cutting relieving in oblique direction is carried out by the offset of column. Equipped with an imported Siemens 802D CNC system, the machine has a nice resetting accuracy and self-diagnosis ability for troubles. Circular feed, radial feed and indexing motion are all under digtal control and therefore very accuracy. The machine is designed for cutting cyclindrical dusc-type spur gear, cluster gear, internal gear, and gear segment. Gears with a diameter up to 500mm, module up to 8mm and face width up to 125mm. Upon special request, the machine can be provided with optional attachments for cutting gear rack, shaft gear, helical gear and little tapered gear. Features of the machine structures 1) The machine features in shor transmission chain, high rigidity, versatile functions and nice adaptability. It is suitable for mass batch gear production at specialized gear works of automobile and tractor building industries and can also be adopted for small batch and job-lot gear productions for machine tool and other machinery manufacturing industries. 2) The machine has a unique structure design and is equipped with a stable and reliable mechanism of cutter stop at the up-most position. When cutting an external gear, the cutter can be stopped at any height by using inching control, and for cutting an internal gear, the cutter will automatically be stopped at the up-most position through inching control. At the time when a cutting cycle is finished, the cutter will automatically go back to the up–most position. 3) The one-cam cutter relieving design and the unique adjusting mechanism of the machine enables the machine to perform both inward and outward cutter back-off, so it is not mecessary to change the cam or disconnect the transmission chain to make any adjustment for cutting and internal gear. adjustment for cutting and internal gear. If gear blanks are in comformity with the specifications as listed in the machine acceptance sheet, the machine is capable of producing the gears will a machining accuracy of Grade 7of GB10095 by using Grade A gear shaping cutter, and capable of assuring the gears with a machining accuracy of Grade 6 of GB10095 by using Grade AA gear shaping cutter.
