MAIN FEATURES

The Model Y5132A is a Semi-Automatic Gear Shapping Machine featured with longitudinal arrangement. The cutter head can be swung to effect outward or inward tool relieving motion;the worktable can be moved for plunge feed;and the counter column can be shifted laterally for the convenience of oblique tool withdrawal.The machine operation. There are two kinds of work cycles avaiiable,i.e.the machine operates in a pre-selected work cycle excluding the loading/unloading of workpieces or in an altenative work cycle excluding the hand-opeerated clamping/release of workpieces and power rapid approach/withdrawal of worktable.

The machine is designed for generating spur gears,cluster gears,internal gears and segment gears with a max.dia.of 320mm,a max.module of 6mm and a max.face width of 76mm, The machine can be equipped,on request, with optional attachments for cutting racks,pinion shafts, helical gears and crowned teeth gears,etc.

Upon special request, a rotary worktable with 6 to 8 work posts can be arranged on the machine for cutting disc gears and pinion shafts, thus making it possible to increase the machine productivity when machines are attended to in groups.

The machine is featured with smooth running, rigid construction, high productivity, lower noise level ,nice versatility and wide adaptability. Due to its convenience in operation and set-up, the machine is well-suited for batch and mass production in the machine-building and the like manufacturing industries.

The main drive feed rate and the rotary feed rate can be changed automatically between roughing and finishing. The rotary feed rate, infinitely variable. can be pre-selected at any ratio for rougning or finishing operation. The plunge feed rate is also infinitely variable, And the number of plunge feed cuttings and the depth of plunge feed can be selected as required. Upon completion of the last plunge feed cutting, the machine will perform a spring cut to improve the machine quality. With each plunge feed completed, the worktable will clamp the workpiece automatically, assuring the work position unchanged under cutting conditions, This improves the working accuracy of machine.
