MIAN FEATURES The Model Y3180CNC is 6-Axes CNC Gear Hobbing Machine with the following 6 axes working under the CNC control: X-axis for the radial feed, Z-axis for the axial feed, Y-axis for the tangential movement, C-axis for the worktable revolution, B-axis for the hob spindle revolution and A-axis for the hob head swiveling. Four axes can be moved simultaneously under control. The electronic gearbox is used to replace conventional change gears on the machine. The machine features in rigid transmission, high machining accuracy and easy-to-operate. The machine is provided with a special software for parameterized programming. The drive to the hob spindle is transmitted from a spindle motor (mounted on the hob head slide) via high-precision gear pairs, thus improving the transmission accuracy and strengthening the relevant transmission characteristics and the transmission rigidity. The ample rectangular guideways on the column are inserted with steel strips and hardened. Their matching slideways are coated with Teflon. Such a guideway pair features in heavy bearing capacity and good resistance against vibration. The machine bed and the like structural members are of double-wall design. The excellent heat balance measure and the up-to-date design assure the machine with sufficient rigidity and stability, enabling the machine to undertake high-production and high-precision gear-cutting operation on straight gear teeth, helical gear teeth, little tapered gear teeth and crowned gear teeth, all with a max. module of 14mm. The machine is equipped with a perfect trouble detection function, the safety function and the environmental protection function.
